"2048" is a minimalistic but incredibly addictive puzzle game created in 2014 by Italian developer Gabriele Cirulli.In just a few months, it has become a global phenomenon due to the simplicity of the rules and the depth of the strategy. The 4x4 playing field initially contains two tiles with a deuce. Your goal is to get bigger and bigger numbers by stacking the same tiles until the coveted "2048" appears. On each turn, you move all the tiles to one of the four sides (up, down, left, right). If two tiles with the same value collide while moving, they are combined into one with the sum of the numbers. After each turn, a new deuce appears on a random empty square (less often a four).
