Paper Queen
A chess puzzle with one rule you will not find anywhere else. Paper pieces stand on the board. You are one of them. Every move must be a capture, and taking a piece turns you into it: take a knight and you move as a knight from then on. There are always exactly as many moves as there are pieces. You cannot get the count wrong — only the order. So "where to go" and "what to become" are the same decision here, and there is no way to separate them. No chess knowledge needed: legal squares are highlighted, and later the highlight fades — but stall a moment and the board shows the moves itself. Every board has exactly one solution, checked by exhaustive search before it reaches you. 60 levels of growing difficulty, endless boards after that. Plus a daily puzzle: the same board for everyone, with a day streak. Undo is free, and "to the fork" jumps straight back to your last real choice. Pieces and paper: Poly Haven and ambientCG (CC0). Music: CC0. Font: Comfortaa (SIL OFL).
