Sumo Shovers

Sumo Shovers is arcade sumo on a round arena. A ring, a crowd of animals and one law: cross the line and you are out. Pull the aim, let go, and your fighter charges. The longer you hold, the harder the shove and the further you slide. Every knockout fills your charge, and a full charge goes off as a move: a shockwave throws everyone back, a leap carries you across the ring, a wedge drives a rival to the edge, a chain drags him back. Eleven moves, one for each of the thirty animals. Arenas bring their own rules: ice, wind, tar, bumpers, a geyser, a cracking floor, a shrinking ring. The last wave is a boss: heavier, with his own move, and he goes down only after several hits. A fighter has ten levels of its own: knock two out at once, survive a wave with no move, shove someone at the very edge. Half of them earn silver, all ten earn gold. The daily arena is the same for everyone and always runs under odd conditions. A win colours the day on the calendar and grows your streak.
