"Presence" is a short horror novel based on the real psychological phenomenon of Third Man Syndrome: the feeling of a stranger nearby, which is recorded in people in long solitary isolation — polar explorers, night watchmen, truckers. What you do when you feel that you are not alone is up to you. Should I trust, escape, or call for help? The story has four different endings, and not all of them are about what you think they are. One evening, one shadow, a few truths.
