Odyssey

Troy has fallen, but the road home took twenty years. Odyssey is a story-driven match-3 based on Homer's poem. 30 levels across six acts: from the Trojan Horse and the Cyclops' cave to the meadow of the Sirens, the strait of Scylla and Charybdis, and the final battle in the hall of Ithaca. Every level is a scene. Odysseus and his crew speak before the battle, and after you win you learn how it turned out. All scenes are hand-drawn and collected in the Chronicle, which you leaf through like an illustrated book. The board is made of Greek treasures: amphorae, drachmas bearing Athena's owl, dolphins, conches, pomegranates, olives and grapes. In your way stand the vine of Dionysus, the chains of Hephaestus, broken marble columns and the lotus of oblivion that spreads across the board. Three levels are boss fights: blinding Polyphemus, the strait of Scylla and Charybdis, and the last stand against the suitors. Progress saves to the cloud: start on a computer, continue on a phone.
